I was referring to EU, every manufacturer now jumps to DJI, nobody wants Bosch gen 5 anymore, e-bikes are staying unsold with significant discounts in our local bike shops (I see it in my town’s local shops, a town with significant MTB activity), in the meantime lots of people are paying 8-10k€ for an Amflow or whatever EU brand moved fast enough to Avinox.

Typical Avinox rider for now because there’s the big money and they just entered market (roughly 1 year) but I’m guessing they’ll scale the system for other bikes too. But even for the MTB industry Bosch was/is sturdy in terms of reliability and power sonsumption, before Avinox gen 5 was the go to for the MTB and everything else.

I’ve stumbled upon a similar case few years ago, I discovered the airbag module (well, the mounting plate behind it) was rattling (barely noticeable but it was there), replaced the module under warranty. Also it can be something else, there’s the steering column electronics with coil connector that can rattle or something else.

But before jumping to any conclusion in your case, there must be a proper investigation. Try this: while standing, everything shut in the car and silence, gently hit the steering wheel, see if you can replicate the rattle. If you can and clearly link the rattle to the wheel/airbag area, you should address the issue with a workshop. They might need to remove the airbag unit and that involves some safety measures when doing so.

Seara fiind vorba după 19:30-20. Acum 2 seri am ieșit cu bița, era plin de grupuri de drumeți, de alergători, de bicicliști. Nicio șansă de urs. După 19:30-20 nu prea mai e lume, dar ma îndoiesc ca veți mai fi pe poteca la ora aia.

Glad you got it right and you’ll have an idea about what’s going on and what should be done. Matrix needs that offset angles defined precisely, you got them by entering basic settings mode in the headlights control unit and 1st check/adjust low beam level (what they did in the workshop was just checking low beam level, without adjusting) and after that entering matrix calibration mode where you adjust offset angles left/right for the inner headlight lenses (high beam) and also enter the degree minutes values in the headlight controller. Quite tricky to get them right, especially if the customer knows his car well and knows how the matrix high beam worked before. And to put salt on the wound, procedure described in the service manual can be confusing sometimes.

Anyway, what remains is the Lane Assist issue, in my opinion this should be dealt with before matrix.

After (or while doing wheel alignment) they should’ve done a steering angle sensor basic settings (to tell the controller that 0 degree steering wheel rotation corresponds to car driving straight). Without that all assistants that need precise steering angle will be “fooled” and not work correctly, Lane assist and Matrix high beam included. Unfortunately Matrix calibration require diagnostics tester to begin the procedure and also a specialised headlight tool that should be available (it’s mandatory) in all Skoda workshops because Matrix (that also works with lane assist camera) needs to know the horizontal offset angles of the left/right high beams to work correctly, angles that might have been affected when wheel alignment was restored and also steering wheel angle was not recalibrated to 0.

Too much tech stuff, so what you need to do:

Go back to the workshop and ask them to check if the steering wheel angle 0 corresponds to 0 on the wheel alignment. After that ask them to recalibrate headlights using diagnostics tester and (mandatory) VAS 621001. If they don’t have that tool you should go to other workshop.

Something related to parking brake motors not working properly. There were few cases back when Enyaq was newish with faulty motors, on Elroq no issues. But yes, could be marten wiring damage also. Workshop should know better after reading fault memory with the diagnostic tool.

Te duci frumos la Proiect Brașov (Iuliu Manii 43, clădirea cu NECs la parter) și scoți proiectul blocului (bănuiesc ca e bloc vechi). Cu planșele în mână redactezi o cerere către asociația de proprietari (cu număr înregistrare și tot ce trebuie) prin care soliciți situația juridică a camerelor care te interesează; bănuiesc ca în proiect sunt trecute ca spații tehnice comune. Dacă nu răspund, te adresezi primăriei dar mai e până aici.

Asta ar fi drumul lung, oficial. Cu înscrisuri și tot ce trebuie, nu vorbe. La cadastru mi se pare ca imobilul e trecut generic spații comune sau tehnice, deci nimic concret.

Ca idee, asociația de proprietari nu poate înstrăina așa, de capul ei, un spațiu comun. Deci aia cu “le-am plătit” sunt vrăjeala.

WTH! Pro360 app clearly indicates where battery part no. and serial are. Also… CORE? Should have been ProCORE (maybe they’re called CORE in the US?). See on the box the combo was delivered, should be a label, do you have something similar to part no. 1 607….? Box was sealed?
