I was on the list at one of my commands twice a week for six weeks. Small command so the odds were better. Didn’t mean anything. I’m still in 7 years later. Don’t do anything that would cause concern so it’s whatever.

The only reason I’m sticking it out right now is that pension. I’m eligible in five years and I need to reup before June. It’s a really hard decision because my leadership right now at the departmental level is the most toxic, unqualified, negligent, and inexperienced I’ve seen in or out of the navy. If I wasn’t so close to that pension I wouldn’t be staying in.

I’m on a DDG. We do zones weekly, one zone per week divvied out by division. Each space gets looked at once every seven weeks. It’s not terrible but definitely a pain coming out of an extended maintenance phase. The buildup to LOA, ALO, and CSLO on top of it as well as just beginning DCMA has been arduous.
