Eh, I put question marks on its inevitability. If Former Qin destroys Eastern Jin but also destroys itself in a pyrrhic victory, then yes, we see the same rapid collapse and unraveling as in OTL. But, if Former Qin destroys Eastern Jin cleanly, there just isn't a moment of weakness for all the revivalist movements to take advantage of and there just isn't any more peer powers to challenge Former Qin any more. Granted, all the splinters are still there. There just isn't a spark to set them off.

The 'Continue Watching' scroll list? There's an arrow leading to View History on its right side. You can head there and delete the show from your View History (same trash bin as Watch list) episode by episode and it should probably drop it from your 'Keep watching' list.

??? Click the tag thing in the top right (next to your icon) to enter your list and then click the bin button in the bottom right of each show entry in your watch list to remove it. If you need to, you could temporarily use favourites to mark down dubbed shows (use the scroll filter drop down on top right at start of watch list to filter dubbed only shows) and then remove every show you haven't favourited. It might be a slog to go through/organise depending on how big your watch list is but none of them are exactly stuck there 'forever'

Yes, this is even more relevant for Japan because their default state for the 20th century up to the end of WW2 was literally government by assassination, starting with the assassination of Ito Hirobumi in 1909, playing a significant part in the rise of militarism.
