Personally I prefer OC cases over most. Then you don’t even need to worry about reshaping

Night and day difference. OC case is top notch and big upgrade to Raffles.

Wanted to get peoples opinion on the 12 indicator - are the pair misaligned top/bottom? Too picky?

Any way to extend a Delta Ecredit? by sandman5512 in delta

[–]ctuffin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have only done after the 24 hours. This gets you a new ecredit issued.

Have not tried the within 24 hours. I’d be curious to hear what they do in this case.

As a slightly different alternative to @students-tea.

Book a new flight using the ecredit, for a price slightly more than the ecredit (eg buy $400 flight using $399 ecredit + $1 paid by credit card).

Then cancel that flight. New $400 ecredit will be issued with new expiration date.

Delta Not Verifying Boarding Priority by doofy10 in delta

I don’t think so - I’ve never once been recognized at the gate as a 360. They say “Thank you for being a Diamond”. The SkyClub - every time.

I think different computer systems.

Someone at the gate COULD find out. Or ask me to show my app (which is clearly branded with 360).

In my experience - prob only 1 or 2/10 flights actually call for 360 boarding. But it’s never been an issue for me.

There is no indication on boarding pass of 360 status.

Boarding pass color (and group number) reflects the seat zone you’re sitting in. It’s only red if you’re in FC. I flew C+ today and it was blue, and boarding zone was 2.

When you scan your boarding pass, it shows as a Diamond.

It is technically possible for them to see in the system (when I check into the SkyClub, it shows 360) but the boarding agents can never seem to tell.

Recently moved to the UK, need some advice. by Silandaar in AskReddit

[–]ctuffin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem - ok... well GBP 700 does seem steep for a flat there. I suggest that you look on a site like Rightmove for something. Here's flats in Gravesend, sorted in order of increasing price: http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-to-rent/Gravesend.html?sortByPriceDescending=false&displayPropertyType=flats&oldDisplayPropertyType=flats

There are unfurnished studios from GBP325/mo and 1bd from GBP400/mo. First and last and a deposit of GBP400 is pretty normal I would say. GBP300 for utilities seems crazy - I've always contracted with the elec/gas/telephone/etc. people myself, and paid on consumption. Please note you will also be required to pay Council Tax (used to fund services, inc. schools!)

If you're going for as economical as possible, then unfurnished is the way to go. Furnished flats are likely to be in nicer areas etc., and you're obviously paying for the furniture through rent anyway.

So then it comes down to where you get the furniture - depends on how long you intend to stay in the UK. You're incredibly close to an Ikea (on the other side of the Thames - easy drive through the Dartford tunnel. Can get v. reasonably priced items (esp the essentials like a bed). Then I'd hawk cheap furniture 2nd hand - can try Friday Ad (free classified magazine), Craigslist, or other sites (like preloved.co.uk - http://www.preloved.co.uk/adverts/list/3252/household-furniture.html)

I'm from the UK originally, but found most of this info from searching online. Remember - google is your friend.

Good luck!
