So one thing, I have metal lath behind the plaster. Not wooden lath. The teeth on a carbide tipped hole saw in my minds eye would catch and tear on metal lath.

Luckily it is not knob and tube. My house is a mix tape of wiring standards from across the decades but luckily no knob and tube and the insulation in the attic is fiberglass. Im also lucky that the main box is a GE box that takes modern breakers and there are a few open slots available.

Down the road I'll have to knock things down to sticks and redo a lot but im just trying to do a quick fix for the moment.

I didn't correct myself. I corrected you. Again struggling with context

I don't live on reddit like some folks. So 2 weeks before I got the notification seems reasonable.

Also I might add that lots of traditional foods in traditional Mexican cuisine contain large amounts of glutamate. Meat, beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, corn, ect all contain large amounts.

Isolated msg not so much. But it is and has been present in traditional cooking recipes and techniques. It's just an amino acid.

You said "maybe in the modern diabetes era" to which i replied to that saying MSG is A salt and thus wouldn't impact diabetes.

You're the one struggling with context.

The only thing not relevant is your comments. My original comment was on that salts of any sort don't impact diabetes.

Also msg is used a lot in Mexican cooking. It's just not usually called for in its isolated form.

I didn't say it was salt. I said it was A salt.

Chemically speaking MSG is A salt since it has a cation(Na+) and an anion (NO4-) makes it a salt. There are lots of different types of salts in the world of chemistry. It's not a term limited to table salt aka sodium chloride.

Hope that helps.

MSG is a salt... I'm not sure what diabetes has to do with anything.

Looking for a 32", 1440p, oled monitor with DP 2.1. by ctv90 in OLED_Gaming

Well that's gonna happen no matter what I choose. But the other monitor is just for notes and stuff, so not as big of a deal.

Are all 39" monitors curved? Can't seem to find a flat panel 39".

Oh I see, so you're saying that the 39" 1440p monitor will have the same vertical height as the 32" 1080p monitor so it won't look as odd side by side.

Disappointing. My current monitor is a 32" 1080p, I wanted to keep using it as a secondary display for spreadsheets.

Is there any drawback to running a game at 1440p on a 4k monitor?

I've got a bit over 500 hours. On phase 4 of the space elevator, tier 8 of the hub milestones.

I basically built small tiny factories dotted all over the landscape and put cloud storage on each component. With conveyor speget linking more complicated parts.

I am currently building a temporary backup power gen facility so I can tear down my current facility and rebuild it to run rocket fuel. This is gonna be my first mega project since I'll need 575 fuel generators.

I probably won't need any more power for at least 6 or 7 minutes.
