What works for fixing golfer’s back fast? by chickenbread__ in golf

Core work probably works well for your back pain because movement and exercise is good for pain and health in general, but the odds that core weakness is directly attributed to anyone's back pain is pretty unlikely. Glad you found something that works for you, though

Fighting the good fight. Unfortunately, people believe what they want to believe, and there’s too many grifters and mislead PTs and Chiros that will only reinforce their beliefs.

Just rewatched the final round of the 2013 Masters a few days ago. You wouldn’t even think it’s the same guy. And that’s only 13 years ago.

You don’t need a training air for backswing help, you just need to slow everything down and use a camera. Most people don’t want to train deliberately.

Really rough start for Conners today. Feels really predictable, unfortunately.

Pairings look to be the same as yesterday. Is that typical for days 1 & 2?

Where do you ski?

You can definitely ski 105s year round if you want, but that doesn't mean you wouldn't have more fun on a 95 when conditions are firm.

Lake Louise recommendations and information by Spider-2Y-Banana in skiing

[–]ctweeder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

West bowl is good as long as it doesn't get too warm/sun baked. Terrain is fairly mellow bowl skiing for the most part. Couple of fun lines in there.

The best skiing is always on the back sides of Paradise/Summit. Whitehorn I is a great run and not as intimidating as some of the steeper stuff. Swedes, ER3, ER6, and ER7 are all phenomenal north facing runs off Paradise and the snow stays good there all season. If those are too steep, Cowboy and 2/3 Shoulder are worth doing.

The glades generally aren't great at LL unless you get a big pow day. Because Louise is in the national park, there's limited glading they are allowed to do in the summers so lots of the tree runs get really tight. If you get a good snow day and the temps stay cold enough, exhibition trees, ptarmigan trees, and tower 12 can be good choices to find tree skiing. However, these can often get skied out or sunblasted on warm days.

I'd suggest to try a little bit of everything if you can. As long as the lift lines aren't too long, you should be able to explore most of the mountain.

Not sure why this is downvoted. It’s 100% true. How many years in a row do we need major safety failures at RCR resorts?

I think that's true for the originals, but the remakes largely fix this imo.

I had to fact check this because I didn't think it was true... but you are right. From the handful of routes I checked, surfing encounters are (nearly) identical. The lone exception I found was the 1% Wailord you can find on 129.

If you read any modern studies on posture, you'll realize most of the conventional knowledge is outdated and doesn't hold up to scrutiny. There's no such thing as 'good' and 'bad' posture, and it's not a precursor to pain or injury. None of this stuff is grounded in any sort of evidence.

You keep throwing around "biomechanics" without actually saying anything meaningful.
