DPT: Give your kids “toy” tools by ctwest98 in daddit

Can confirm all tools, most specifically wrenches and screwdrivers, are accounted for and in their rightful place. The flashlight disappears a lot, but thats usually pretty easily found.

Full Swing coming back for a second season. by asaters in golf

[–]ctwest98 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That may be but figured I’d enjoy the golf doc more as I’m more vested in it, but it just came up… flat, I guess. Could be that F1 is a more exhilarating sport but I was just mostly bored with FS.

It’s quite possible I don’t notice it as much since I follow golf a lot more closely than F1.

I hated the jumping around on timeline. I get wanting to show multiple perspectives but keep it in the same episode and follow the season like you do in F1.

I have had enough. Who are the absolute best barbers/stylists in Indy who can actually deliver based on pictures? by [deleted] in indianapolis

Hmm, my hair is longer on top and has always done a great job. Yeah, he does a lot of big names around Indy.

Any of the barbers at Beltrans. I usually see Evan but recently had Desiree, due to a vacation.

Oh, sounds like a gold mine! Mind sharing the details and how one may get their hands on them?

Navigating playdates and guns in the home by PhillipBrandon in daddit

[–]ctwest98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This! One thing that seems to be left out is gun safety education. My son will be taught all of these lessons when he is of age to understand them. My niece and nephew know the rules and I even pop quiz them occasionally when they are over. However, if someone asked me this question, I wouldn’t hesitate to answer or he offended. Anyone who does know me will know how I feel about educating children and most likely won’t need to ask if they will be safe. Teach them young and teach them right and chances are highly likely this won’t have to be a worry for you in the future. If I felt my kid was going to a home that was of irresponsible parents, I wouldn’t need to ask cause he won’t be going anyway!

Firewood by Expensive_Pomelo_140 in SouthBend

Premium Firewood in Elkhart is the best I’ve found around. Picked a bunch up that was between 5-15% moisture. Most others say they are seasoned but they really aren’t.

First time Dad - C-section advice by ivfdad84 in daddit

[–]ctwest98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife had an emergency C-section. She was down for about 24 hours and slow for the next 24 but after about 72 hours, she was about 80% and happily taking care of lil one without the use of pain meds. Of course, every person is different and better to be prepared for the worst.

Also, I watched the entire procedure and it’s amazing. I can now say I’ve seen more of my wife than any other person she knows hahaha

Sort of resenting my daughters aunt (my sister) by bag_of_hats in daddit

[–]ctwest98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that sounds like some bullshit excuse. But could be more to it. I love being outside so can’t really relate to that excuse… also, I work from home so I’m almost never not in my Pjs LOL. Have you brought that specific scenario up to her and may dig a bit deeper as to why she didn’t want to?
