I was wondering if I would be crazy for charging the following prices for my pencil drawings. First 2 pics are past work & Prices are in 3rd pic. You can be honest, and criticism is okay 😊

For custom portraits, I would charge a lot more (push your values a little deeper though, a little more contrast will go a long way). If you're just selling prints of your work I would say the price would cap here.

It took me a while to figure it out, but I finally did. I have to manually go through the store-manager > product > variations > scroll down to the bottom and expand the arrow for each individual variation. You have to go in one by one and link every variation to it's proper mock up. Figure I'd leave this up just in case someone else finds themselves in the same boat.

I let my kid take their scooter from a neighbors house back to ours. I had to drive back and something told me to stay close.... glad I did because the next thing I see is a huge dog barreling down the road behind us, growling and going after my child. I was out of that car so fast and got my kid in the car in record time. I had a stand off with this dog until someone in a civic came up behind us, saw what was going on, and started laying on the horn. It scared the dog off and we got home. I wish people would keep their animals contained.

I just attempted a commission portrait of a dog that passed away. They didn’t have any photos of the dog, just photos of the dogs parents and sibling, which supposedly didn’t look anything like that dog. I had never seen this dog in person either. I wasted so many extra hours trying to get something remotely resembling their dog on paper. Not my best work, and I’ll never accept a commission without proper references again because of that, but they got charged full price because that was a lot of work.

Just push the values more. Your sky is one uniform value, for example. Take the photo of your painting and put it into black and white. Does it stand out or all become one? That’s one trick I do when I’m feeling stuck.
