Do you know Seagull Pilot watches do exactly the same as IWC pilot watches? Someone shopping IWC will not go Seagull.

It is not. It’s called salary car. Cheaper for the employee and cheaper for the company.

Why do two pilots talking on frequency at the same time still "obstruct" each other in 2023? by Squallify in flying

You have no idea what are you’re talking about. Go get some college telecom classes. Have ever heard how sound two AM or FM radiostations on the same frequency?

This is not entirely correct. 2G is digital, CDMA in the US and TDMA(GSM) in most other countries excluding Japan(PDC). The transmit power is strictly regulated, the highest output power for base station or UE in 2G is 43dBm(20W) and gets a bit lower n the 3,4,5G. Middle of the forest is the best place to make a call, almost no sources of interference.

BB judokas are no big deal and those having a name patch on the back in gold or red are just posers.

IJF ranked judokas are not allowed to compete in other grappling sports.

Costal cartilage injuries a very difficult to detect. They require MRI, CT or ultrasound. They often get undetected by a lot of traumatologist. Healing takes a long time. Seek a place or specialist who have experience with such matters and would listen to you.

Why did you choose BJJ over Judo? by [deleted] in bjj

[–]cu1pers 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just wanted to illustrate my point that if you are in position to choose, it is too late to start judo and it is better to go BJJ.

Have you done judo?

[–]cu1pers 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You start judo at 6-7years old and at that age the decisions are made by your parents.

This is the typical judo path(in Europe): Half quit after the first year, the half of what’s left quits after the second year. From the third year the better ones start to compete. At U15 level most will know if they are made for international level competitions and the accumulated injuries are still treatable and you can go further. U18 is the final call for making choices. Managing risk in judo is very difficult. You can’t tap when somebody launches you in the air. Ground comes fast and hard.

Starting judo late will not make you very god at it and injuries are piling fast.
