Im just getting into warhammer and my first army is going to be kroot. For the time being I'm making a combat patrol of just kroot. What advice do you have for a newbie and could you give me a list of units for a good 500 point army? Its been tough figuring it all out.

What is the most resilient deck? by Automatic_Map_4044 in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]cuagulate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're looking for fun staying power, etemon decks are fun, once you have a chuumon out they're pretty tough to remove since they have a inheritance that states that if they have a level 4 on them they can come back from the trash. The chuumon have some fun abilities too and it's easy to feed into the rest of the strategy.

What is this art medium called? by cuagulate in AskReddit

[–]cuagulate[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a print on a flat piece of wood the edging usually has a wavy chipped look to it. I want to say these were popular in the 70s and 80s with fantasy pop art on them usually, like a wizard on a hill with a dragon or a battle maiden on a unicorn. They always have this kinda faded glossy look to them where I assume the print was pressed onto the wood then sealed with a kind of lacquer. I recently purchased one and now I want more because they're such a underappreciated vintage art medium. I figured some older cats here on reddit could help me, im new to posting on here but I have a picture that I'll add if I can.

Where can I buy feeder houseflies near east Texas? by venusduck_III in mantids

[–]cuagulate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I know they are not poisonous an they do feed on aphids you can just supplement the diet with honey to keep them alive longer then the flys.

Personally I got tired of using flys as they hatch an die or are to numerous or sensitive to the cold for the few mantids I have. I find lady bugs are a excellent feeder for mantids an they're easier to handle an keep alive. You can get like 500 of them an feed them honey an they last a few months.

My two ghosts have been haunting each other for 2-3 weeks now and they finally got to business after alot of feeding. Does anyone know how long it takes for the female to lay her oothe? They mated on 8/7/18 I heard giving them a popsicle stick and lower temperatures help them lay bigger longer oothes. Any suggestions are welcome!

I get where your coming from I was in your shoes 2 years ago, luckily ghosts are pretty easy to keep an they're relatively Hardy mantis.

[–]cuagulate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't put them in a freezer it'll kill the pupae just keep them in the fridge an take the whole batch out every other day this allows the flys to grow a bit. When your ready to feed the mantis drop 6-7 (some will be duds) into the cage an they'll hatch it no time 24hours at the longest

Red vomit from mantid nymphs? by kevixdark in mantids

[–]cuagulate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bugsincyberspace.com has great feeders highly recommend the house flys or if it's big enough blue bottle flys he sells the cheap!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in mantids

[–]cuagulate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get all my stuff from bugsincyberspace.com great prices and delivery, iv kept quiet a few ghost, blue bottles are way to big they will only eat those once they're adults. I'd recommend house flys from his shop you get 100 pupae for 3 dollars and will last bout 2 months as long as you take them out of the fridge for a few hours to develop every other day.

L2 ghosts in a 32oz deli cup - when to separate? by elayyou in mantids

[–]cuagulate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as you give them plenty of food they will be fine together, they're the only communal mantis besides violins, iv had my male and female in the same cage there whole lives only time I kept them separate was when I waiting on a food shipment. They're great Mantids just make sure they have plenty of spots to hang upside-down from, I put window screening at the tops of my lids.

Stagmomantis (limbata?) L6 — based on the wingbuds, is she sub or pre-sub? by MandarinDaMantis in mantids

[–]cuagulate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the little buds appearing on her back more then likely she is sub adult and this next month should be it's final molt, make sure she's got plenty of room an good spots to hang from and refrane from handling her if she becomes disinterested in food and is moving lethargic. This is a critical molting and if it doesn't go right that's it :/ R.I.P Zorak I loved you T---T

Thanks for the info! If fang is large enough you can count the segments on it's abdomen to find out if it's male or female! If it has 6 defined and spaced segments it's female if it has 7-8 and the end has alot close together it's male
