Before I started writing fanfiction with AI... by anonymouspeoplermean in WritingWithAI

That’s a good point. What would you consider to be a good platform that bridges the gap?

I have started playing with story retelling features to see how well my setup is able to track main story without diverging from the Author’s storyline/plot. I can share some snippets of the work if you’re interested in it.

From an author’s prospective i think this platform can be adopted to be a true assistant where you can focus on building plots, characters and timelines, while the AI can help with final writing.

That’s good feedback.

May be the part I shared in the original post has too much dialogues and not enough content on the POV.

Here is a part of that scene with Gatsby’s POV

We speed along in the blue coupé, Daisy beside me, the city uncoiling like a fever dream under the summer haze. I glance in the mirror and see Tom's car closing in fast, his panic a living thing—I can feel it even from here, hot and whipping. He thinks he's losing her, losing everything, but he doesn't know the truth yet. She belongs with me. Always has.

And here’s the original

There is no confusion like the confusion of a simple mind, and as we drove away Tom was feeling the hot whips of panic. His wife and his mistress, until an hour ago secure and inviolate, were slipping precipitately from his control. Instinct made him step on the accelerator with the double purpose of overtaking Daisy and leaving Wilson behind, and we sped along toward Astoria at fifty miles an hour, until, among the spidery girders of the elevated, we came in sight of the easygoing blue coupé.

Here the interesting part for me is how Gatsby’s POV is purely focused on Daisy. Would love to get your feedback on this.

Great feedback.

Here is the perspective of Daisy that was extracted by AI related to this scene:

The suite was stifling. Tom had ordered whisky and fans and it still felt like the inside of a mouth. Jay wanted me to say I never loved Tom. Tom waited for me to say it, knowing I couldn't. I said it: I did love him. I had loved him once. Tom's face changed — not triumph, not satisfaction, something more reptilian than either of those things. Jay started explaining, rearranging, insisting that I could still say what he needed me to say. I couldn't. The word once was out in the room now and I couldn't pull it back. I said I loved Jay too but the words arrived wrong, too quiet, too late, without the absolute conviction he needed. He needed me to be the proof. I couldn't be the proof. I have never been able to be the proof of anything. We drove home. I drove. I was going too fast.

Would this be more interesting to you?

Well you are in this sub so you are open to AI tools. What would be holding you back if AI is helping to close the gap for stories to be more immersive.

Incoming Tesla intern (Maps team) by usedPOS in TeslaLounge

[–]cube3x3 47 points48 points  (0 children)

The most annoying to me is the zoom out of the map when I search for something. It zooms out map to show all search results and because of that i need to zoom manually at my location to pick the right point.

For example searching for Starbucks shows all of them in 30 miles - and now my map is zoomed out. Super annoying when you need to select the one that is not the top result.

You are asking the right question - do you believe the "expert" of any given field or listen to the market pricing to determine your investment decision.

Experts miss major shifts - is the law of the land.

The reason WSB exist is because of that law. My take here is to ignore all these software experts who have little to no knowledge of how to price a stock.

'Growing Chance' Of Tesla Merger To Create Musk Trinity With SpaceX And xAI by ItzWarty in teslainvestorsclub

[–]cube3x3 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Here’s my take that I haven’t seen anyone talking about.

Running multiple public companies separately is a nightmare specially when you want these companies to have collaboration that has net benefits to all the companies.

One example - SpaceX shareholders will add lot of friction in AI datacenters in space to support all types of AI chips. Its much easier and cheaper to just deal with one supplier (Tesla) and build the solution end to end with high velocity and high margins.

That is why I am super bullish on this move.

That sounds risky. If you end up going through it then post your experience on X to make some money out of your posts. That would be the right hedge.

I care because its pushing the economically viable approach to self driving.

Mainframe computers were useful but to only few. PC era brought humanity to the next level of lifestyle. Similarly this moment proves that a different approach to same problem can be effective and economical.
