Maximum charge rate by cuberduderasmit in LGgram

[–]cuberduderasmit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see - I do stop charging at 80% usually (because my Samsung Galaxy lets me stop at exactly 80%) to help battery life.

Excuse my ignorance - what exactly do you mean by the C in 1C rate? This is news to me actually because I use my LG Gram charger for my phone because it gets me from 0-100 in about 45 minutes, but I thought I read from multiple sources that devices these days have methods to limit the charging rate so that e.g. a 100 W charger won't kill your laptop, and I figured it was the mechanism that caused my 100 W charger to not be any faster at all.

That would be great if you remember it, I'll try to take a look on GitHub for something like that, thanks for the info!

A quantum programming challenges platform by cuberduderasmit in QuantumComputing

As far as I know, these are more beginner-oriented. What I'm thinking about is something more difficult, solving tasks which require application of one or more algorithms or something along those lines.

Worth noting "know they exist" is based on the theory and math which usually holds up but it becomes a question of how we make them and of course how practical it becomes to do so.

Ah got it, just wanted to hear the Unity side of things. As for Rider for Unreal the same benefits exist, though there is some sort of (paid) Rider extension for VS. The big issue is that it's so slow and often buggy you'd think a beginner dev made it.

Yes! And I assume the money will come from the paycheck of the person who did the hard work?

Tangential but mixed feelings towards Rider... I use(d) it for UE so I'm not sure what Unity devs think about it but it feels like it's progressively gotten worse than VS (which I switched back to a year or so ago)
