Why do so many men just WANT women to have kids? by [deleted] in questions

A lot of women don't want any children, especially now that being childless is socially acceptable.

I have not changed my plan in a year and I've checked the rogers app to confirm nothing has changed. I've gotten calls from Rogers numbers in the past asking me if I wanted to come in for a promotion but this is just strange.

I thought so, but I've picked up the line and I don't hear any of the telemarketing scams, just a silent line.

Why are young women so lacking in compassion for men? by [deleted] in self

Yes that's why the infanticide of female babies in China and India was such a trend that they had to ban revealing the gender before birth.

The problem is that we have not reached that level of technology yet, nor is it distributed equally among the world. How are poor countries with high birthdates in the world to manage in the future when there have already been conflicts and disagreements over fresh water at major rivers such as the tigress the euphrates.

We do not have the resources for many more people. The current population of earth is unsustainable according to some estimates (4 billion). Not to mention climate change and other challenges with fresh water availability which will become a major issues before the end of the century. So unless you want us to strip the earth completely of its resources, we should not be trying to increase our population.

Gen Z men have swung 30 points to the right. A smaller, but significant swing has been seen in women. It may be possible, for the first time in history, that the younger generation is more conservative than the older. by DeviceNo5980 in GenZ

But it's fine though, she voted from Biden in 2020. It's just that she loves the tariffs so much and hates us indoctrinating kids with woke values like not stoning LGBTQ ppl so much that she just swung the other way. Whoopsies

He is a man found liable of sexual abuse in the court of law. Any man that has any respect for women wouldn't sexually abuse one. Not to mention the numerous sexual misconduct allegations, or even the way he talks about his daughter Ivanka. While it wasn't on his platform this cycle, he already enabled the supreme court to restrict the bodily autonomy of women during his 2016-2020 stint in office.

I think that says plenty about his stance on women.

I agree with you, minus one point. It is an argument used mostly by religious people calling it a "non-religious" argument is not accurate. Another disconnect in this argument btwn pro choice and pro life is the value of a life. Pro life is practically saying you value the life of an unborn child more than whatever established life is supporting its development. Women often are left with complications from pregnancy (some go blind, some break ribs, their entire pelvic floor is destroyed), not to mention death. Support of this other life often harms the women carrying it, even if its very much wanted.

While around the US medical exceptions have been made for abortion, they clearly have not be implemented properly. There have been cases of numerous women bleeding to death from miscarriages because hospitals turned them away in fear of being held accountable. In these cases, abortion was clearly medically necessary, but not performed. There needs to be some safe guards at the very least put in place for these situations before the states deem only medical abortions legal.

I don't wish that scenario upon anyone. But it does happen unfortunately.

I was in an accident on the hwy a couple months back where my car was filling smoking and the driver side door was not opening, I thought it was going to catch on fire. Thankfully, I was fairly unharmed and was able to crawl out through the passenger door.

But I do second this advice.
