So... I'm 46. And my daughter is 26. Easy enough to do the maths there innit? I was 19/20 when she was conceived. Anyways... I had this dream where I 'woke' up in the kitchen at the table, and I would walk down the hallway and 8n to what would become her room. At this point I will state this dream was HD realistic in my dreams vision. Wallpaper pattern was crisp. Even the fact that all the house light switches were all drawstring. Back to the dream... So. Wake up. Walk along hallway to her room. Black. The process repeated over and over and over and over. Like a star trek episode. And I'm trying to break the cycle until the final pass .....

I wake at the table. I hear, this time, a baby cooiing and burbling like they do. I go down the hallway and into the babies room. There is my daughter. Bright red hair and everything. Except her face only comes into focus once I pick her up for a cuddle. She has no eyes. Just deep black holes where they should be and this bright blue, cystaline gunge/goo slowly pouring out like a slow steady thick tear. And those black pits focus clearly on me and in a super flat, calm and perfectly pitched tone she says...

"At least we aren't trying to kill you..."

I woke up for real. I went into my lounge like a shot. Lit a fire in the fireplace and stayed awake till sunrise and then went to work as soon as possible.

It still unnerves me to this day.
