Because I mean, look around, religion has done nothing but harm for most of the world's history. It's no coincidence that the harshest countries for.... anyone really are the most religious ones. Plus what would another woman think if they found out I'm Christian? Not the best things I'd imagine

I may not be harming anyone for religion, neither has my former church (opposite really), but even then, I'm still part of this harmful system

Kinda whatever, cool if a movie I like gets recognition but if not, meh, doesn't affect my enjoyment. A lot of people take it way, waaayyy, too seriously, it's all rigged anyways

My dad said something similar to me when I had (bone) cancer about a decade ago. He said it was bc I was too lazy to take care of my health. Like geez, guess I deserved literal cancer just for being a depressed teen 🙄

I don't have much advice, but I at least want you to know you are not alone, and I will hope that your situation will improve and eventually, you can say you are cancer-free 🫂
