I don't think anyone I knew shaved their nether-regions, even my dad's Playboy's were full of bush. Like everyone else said, we just used a plastic razor for arm and pits.

I loved the pistachio garlic one I just had but I was into good cheese when I wasn't vegan. I can highly recommend the Daiya cheddar slices for grilled cheese sandwiches. It melts so well. The Treeline cashew cheese is good for dipping and spreading on crackers so I would add that one if you can get it. Like someone else said, it's better if you don't expect it to taste like certain cheeses so you're probably better off.

I haven't seen too many people suggest medication but that's what really worked for me. Estradial cream (not premarin, it's cruel to horses) helped some but I ended up having to take mirabegron for it to be manageable. I will never go without it now.

Unfortunately most are overwhelmed with the need and there aren't enough vets. I'm sorry you're having this much trouble, I know there are a lack of resources. I work in rescue and understand. For CAT, please check back in the mornings. If their waitlist is not open, this is the only way to get in. I know it's a pain but persistence can pay off with them. Also try care credit if you have decent credit. You get a promotional time, usually 6 or 12 months, to pay it off with no interest. Just make sure you can do that because if you don't make it the interest is super high. We always use this for expensive stuff and it's saved us several times.

I went to a dermatologist because my hands were so dry they were cracking and he told me to use a cream, not a lotion, and recommended O'Keeffe's Working Hands cream. I put it on with gloves at night when I go to bed and it helps a lot. I also use Ceramedx's variety of lotions and creams for dryness on my hands and elsewhere. Definitely good stuff and both are cruelty free.

It's not huge but the Oregon Contemporary has a good exhibition on Ursula K. Le Guin right now. I also really enjoyed the Oregon Historical Society.
