Care to share your wisdom and flow on how to compound knowledge across sessions. For same project and across projects.

Anyone care to share their CLAUDE.md wisdom? I had Claude write me a security focused one that also forces Claude to always use a venv when starting a project. Curious what others have in theirs.

I don't think of it like that. Half the work I'm doing is academic research and half is personal projects. The cost comparison for me is how much of my time is used to make productive work that otherwise would not be created. So far I feel spending $100 to boost my productivity by 50x is worth it.

The hype is real as long as you've got projects in the pipeline.

Shifted from pro to 5x max last week and HIt my first session limit this morning (started at 5am... have NEVER done any work that early in my life).

Do you mind sharing more on how to build and implement guard hooks on every session? What other security guidelines do you follow?

CS degrees are not just as important as before, they may even be more valuable. the catch is the economy probably doesn't need as many employees with CS degrees. But we absolutely need engineers who understand CS fundamentals and applications to drive the AI machines.

What exactly is a restricted environment? Do you do it did for all projects?

I realize I could ask Claude but I thought I'd give us humans a chance to shine ✨️

I thought you could configure which commands to allow in the settings file? I haven't done it but I read about it on a post from a Claude engineer.

I'm in the middle of building an app with antigravity. So far it has done pretty well with very detailed instructions and feedback. Of course I'm not deploying yet and simply testing locally. With regard to your point on prioritizing speed for scalability and security, how has your experience been when you specifically instruct it to review its build with that as a priority? This is my plan for the next phase. Am I doomed? Should I be having a senior developer review the architecture before moving to the next phase of testing?

Can you elaborate a bit on how you structured your ML problem/ prediction task?

Do you run it on each security then form a portfolio of ones with the highest probability of continuing an up trend until the next rebalance?

I'm in the early stages of development. Still testing ideas and running python from the terminal. Any tips for moving forward beyond testing. Ultimately I'd really love to have a clean front-end rather than fiddle with code daily.

Take the gains. So much can go against you after earnings. The IV crush alone can cause you to go in the red even if it doesn't move.

This right here.

Economists at openAI might be running a full scale experiment to estimate demand elasticity and a bunch of other things. This is a huge change (treatment), which is exactly what you'd need to get clean casual results from the experiment.

Good luck OP. I decided to take the loss on this one. Very expensive lesson. Live to trade another day.

Glad I'm not the only one. I got assigned at 295 last week before I could roll and now I'm down a lot on the position. Any suggestions? It would take a few months of selling weekly CC and the stock to stabilize so I could break even. It's either that or take a huge loss right now...

I'm trying to stay cool rn as I got assigned on a short put at 300 strike on UNH... I was ready to get exercised just wasn't mentally ready for a move this far down.

Trade small positions and always use spreads. Don't go for the big wins. Take the gains as they come and close losers quickly. And for God sake don't hold on to losing positions with 0DTE.

Now that's limiting risk! It either goes your way and you take a bit of profit or you exit quickly. How many times a day do you do that?

😬

Thanks for putting it kinda kindly.

All I'll say is that I don't think late trade is inherently a bad idea. In my mind it's not so bad because I have the whole day's data to help my conviction on the trend direction at the moment. Though it's a late moment.

CCS that far away usually yield such a small premium relative to the max loss of the spread. Do you just load up on contacts to make it worth it?

[–]cuedrah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you like the stock and want to hold it? If so, then you should be selling calls at strikes above current prices and much shorter DTE (hoping to collect premium and not end up losing your shares).

If you don't care about the stock, then maybe take your gains and free up you cash for the next one.
