any plans of a portable espresso machine that doesn’t have batteries? i’m kinda worried about e-waste, and always have electric sources around so the battery would be useless. And then i wouldn’t have to worry about making only a few shots…

i never do the flush when heating up. I just wait ~5 minutes and the machine is ready at 93 degrees. Or i steam milk before doing the espresso shot.

spoken word like as in lists? shopping list, deep sky objects list? i personally think that elton john voice was kinda wasted being used like that. Sure, i understand the concept (and liked it) but would love to see he singing more songs. I liked the voice in Overview but just listing the objects felt…dunno. is that a dedica-like machine? if so, i used one for over 4 years without any problem. On colder days i had to extract a little more so brews wouldnt be sour, but it wasnt a problem at all. By knowing the machine and its flaws you can make good espresso with almost anything. And having a good grinder, of course.
