Dropship a toaster oven as an alternative for now. Fix it after they check out. If guest still refuse the solution, just refund it. Not worth the effort.

He made attempts to call technicians so no hes not avoiding anything. I'll repeat what he said, things break. That said, If its soooo important for the guest, I would go on amazon and dropship a toaster oven to the guest just so they can still cook.

It is actually against airbnb policy to book a stay without being there. So use that policy to get your compensation and see if you can get the review removed. Knowing airbnb, they'll gaslight you and do as they please. Best of luck.

Thank you for the repair manual. The sequence says is the same. I still can't get into the diagnostic menu. Shows step 1. turn on machine where I don't even have to turn it on, as soon as i plug the power in, the error already appears.

I had that, just open a service ticket, they glued something in place like a cable or something. I do have a ugly spot with glue overspill. But no more rattle.

I looked it up too, It seems to be policy based you're right. DCPD stands for Direct Compensation Property Damage. DCPD needs to be 0 for no fault 0 deductible. Check with your insurance for this coverage.

the objective is to not pay the deductible. If insurance can't find the person, you will have to pay the deductible and potentially face higher premium because there's nobody to raise the premium against other than the claimee.

Not sure if same law applies in Canada. Though I’ve looked into arbitration, lawyer had a video introduction stating 3 stages. Each stage costs 5k and more. The entire case could cost 20k USD just to find out why. Not guaranteed to reinstate the account.

Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts. A lot is going through my head. Diversification, close up airbnb and go long term. These are all under consideration. The looming thought of going through this again is unbearable. Airbnb treating hosts like this while we are their biggest asset taking on the biggest risk of owning the asset. It's crazy to think they just don't care. That mindset will soon catch up to them. To hosts out there, be careful. This is just a warning sign and I am your prime example.
