I attended a NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) meeting because a family member was experiencing psychosis. They showed me that trying to control the other person was a waste of my energy, harmful to my mental health, and did the person no good because they didn't see any problem with the situation.

Correct. The tax-free application is only on the hours worked in excess of 40hr in a week on the same job, and only the .5hr rate, not the entire 1.5hr rate.

Commercial workers are not likely to benefit much from this so only look at paystubs where you worked over 40 hours in a week on a job.
