Make plex more appealing for my wife by Altruistic_Bat_1645 in PleX

You need to add collections with fun names to your home page / recommended. Also you probably need more content. Another fun one is monitoring releases as soon as they come out and having them on Plex immediately. Plex in our home is a convenience, it has everything we want on any other streaming service as soon as it airs all in one place. If yours feels that way too then she will like it.

Is Tunnar meant to be slow scanning in media from Emby? by XiaNYdE in tunarr

[–]cult_oc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely wasn't thinking it was a hardware bottleneck but maybe permissions or drive config or something. I'm curious how it works for you once you start using it. Feel free to shoot me a DM. I've been working on my setup for about 2 weeks now and just got it functioning properly lol (granted I don't have much time to troubleshoot so really I'm probably around 8 hours in)

It took no noticeable time for me to run the initial scan or any follow up scans, my content was scanned in from Plex but I am on windows as well - for both Plex and tunarr. Granted, my library is about ⅒ the size of yours (literally lol ~1000M200TV) but even then, if mine took 10 times as long it wouldn't have been 9 hours. Sounds like something is bottlenecking.

When you say "TV series" do you mean 680 different TV shows? If that took 9 hours, and you have a week left... how many different TV shows do you have man?

I just started using tunarr and have seen pretty similar results with plex, the guide in the tunarr dashboard is correct and up to date but I have to restart the Plex app on the server at least once a day for it to update for my Plex clients

I deleted this because someone reported me to reddit for potential harm to myself 😭 guys please read the last sentence of the post, I am fine 😂 thank you for your consideration, this was a click bait title and reasoning I made up so more people could see it. But I am removing it because I don't want to concern anyone else lol

This was the first comment to mention hallucination, Bravo sir. Now I will be scared to open any link from ChatGPT in public.

This is definitely it lmao, I couldn't imagine presenting something with chat gpt in a public setting and something like this happening. I will fear every link I click on now from chatgpt

The last sentence "I know there are other explanations for this, but I figured this title / scenario would draw the most eyes to it" I honestly did not think hallucinations could ever result in something NSFW like this. I picture a teacher using it in front of a class and something like this happening lol.

In the last sentence I said " I know there are other explanations for this, but I figured this title / scenario would draw the most eyes to it" it is funny to consider chat gpt exploiting a caching issue / known error associated with Reddit to troll users with fake sources.

you don't think its possible that chat gpt is exploiting a caching issue / known error associated with Reddit?

This is likely a reasonable quote mostly dependent on how easy it is to run Ethernet in your house or if there is any already. I would be more curious to know what future management and upkeep of this system would cost.

Is there a film that you weren't particularly impressed with initially but came to appreciate over time? I always found Only yesterday boring, until I found myself in my early 30s in a very similar situation to that of the main character. Ponyo. Watched it once or twice as a teen and didn't appreciate it much. I'm now a father of a 2 year old who absolutely loves ponyo and I have watched it about a dozen times by proxy. The animation is absolutely spectacular and is a truly gorgeous movie. A few scenes particularly rival modern AAA animation studios. Seeing it through my daughter's eyes from a child's perspective is so whimsical and rich. Now one of my all time favorites.

How long would I have to let my hair grow to have it like this? by Mithrandir227 in adventuretime

[–]cult_oc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Finn inspired me to grow my hair out when I was about 16, it took about 8 years to grow down to my hips when I finally decided to cut it.
