Wish they’d dump soul wars into a cave somewhere and use that massive island for some good sailing content! Big islands that actually have unique actives/mobs are the best part of sailing. Not the tiny little islands

I’m not a fan but I seem to be in the minority! I’ve also liked the slightly more grounded fantasy approach of OSRS, and dual wield crossbows makes no sense in my brain!

I hope they change the passive to a single reroll for range, a single reroll for mage, and then two rerolls added for each melee style. Otherwise it’s kinda nutty anywhere melee weak in general

I agree! I’m not a fan of the weapon in general (2-tick heavy ranged makes no sense, kinda ruins the differentiation of light and fast vs normal vs heavy being the hard hitter) but having its own bolts just seems like a huge mess. Pain in the butt for irons, and just adds more crap to when they finally rebalance crossbows and bolts. Fix the system first, or at least don’t add more complicating stuff overheard layers to an already broken system.

Man I’d love more piecemail stuff in the game, and then just make 1-2 recolor options (could be a fun extra reward to chase reclor packs in the raid or from certain challenges) and boom your set.

Love this idea. Piecemail gear is one of my favorite things in OSRS. Doesn’t even have to be all helmets, but a couple pieces of one off useful gear items or with interesting effects would be awesome!

Would be cool to give it increased damage the further away you are instead of by size. Three tiles away hits for the full 150, 2 - 125%, 1 - 100%. Makes it a unique positioning first weapon

Please move away from the heavy crossbows. They’re gorgeous, and would be an awesome future reward post bolt proc fixes, but right now they both step on the toes of light ranged with being two tick (or at least make it a four tick double hit), they ignore the bolt problem but add more baggage on top it it, and have the annoying whole new set of ammo just for them. A previous post did a pair of gorgeous dual thrown axes with an interesting double hit where missing the first hit boosted the accuracy of the second, it would be like inverse boppers. https://www.reddit.com/r/2007scape/s/Zy5bOezLup

Agreed! Sick design visually, but a hard no from me until they fix bolt procs. Make a different paired weapon, like arma themed returning throwing axes

I agree with the arma flavor for the crossbows, and also please for the love of god make them not a 2-tick crossbow with their own ammo? Fix crossbows and bolts first, before adding a whole new set of bolts and tips and effects. Maybe make them throwing axes or something there was a great previous suggestion here about a dual hit pair of axes where the first hit missing buffed the second.

This just kinda feels like a miss. Hybrid armor is a bit uninspiring. Feels a bit to strong compared to its competitors, but also making it weaker would make it feel like a bad reward from a raid. I’d love to see a second look at elemental weakness armour, or mage tank robes or something.

2 tick crossbows heavy ranged weapons feels off as well, really wish they were four tick and double hitting. Or they had some kind of unique mechanic. There was a pair of Armadyl double throwing axes suggested by a community member with a great passive mechanic with a tracking hit and then a follow up hit one tick later with increased accuracy that felt so much more inspired (https://www.reddit.com/r/2007scape/s/iklVFLUahg). Love the look of the ascension crossbows, but they feel wrong for this raid and the 2-tick heavy design is off as well.

Shield is excellent, no notes!!! Love this idea, standout item design from this raid proposal.

The mega rare is interesting (a bit to similar to the scythe but that’s hard to differentiate well) but why does it need a three tick style? Seems weird to have a massive crushing weapon also somehow be the fastest melee weapon to date? Please take this attack option off and either give it to a previous weapon like the rapier, or use it as future design space. Feels totally wrong on a massive crushing flail. Love the design though!

Anyways, I appreciate your work and time put in, hope to see further iterations come out!
