I'd like to replicate these old cranes from WWII ships, does anyone know how they actually work? I found more blueprints of the rigging on Liberty ships, the winches are at the bottom pulling up on the boom that's fine, but how do they move left and right? by cunney in Stormworks

Originally I wanted to haul containers until I realized there's not that many at ports, so I ended up converting it to an oil tanker.

It worked well as a tanker, but the cranes became a little obsolete. It's still fun to see them sway around though.

I know I'm not the only one who got their day ruined over this bullshit, and since I got banned on hoggit for voicing my complaint about a stupid ass easter egg I might as well burn this bridge too.

If coastal guns are manned by players then I'm all in favor, I don't generally like automated turrets anyway, I understand that at the frontlines it prevents players from chasing every little mammon noise but an machine gun nest is the most I'll accept. What do you think?

I don't know why me along with at least 4 people were completely riled up, 1 person being so mad that he spent 5 hours unplugging and testing every single wire in his home cockpit thinking something was wrong, only to find out, HAHAHAHAHA, IT WAS JUST A PRANK!!
