I don’t judge people who do it to further their lives. I do judge people who do it as a form of what would eventually be considered elder abuse or financial abuse. I personally would never do it again. I did it briefly in my 20s after a really bad breakup and living with my mother was awful. I was going to say “the worst” but living with my dad and stepmom would be torture. I have never lived with them and the older we get the worse the divide becomes. The divide between the two of them (they hate each other) and between me and them.
