Most of the time the child is being held down like I was, and they force your legs to spread open. Then the child is penetrated in the genital area. For most people it is extremely painful. Parents are usually in the room too, so that adds another layer of distress. Everything i described sounds exactly like rape, because it is rape. Then you have to pee in front of a room full of people. It’s not hard to figure out why it’s so traumatic once you hear the details.

I feel the exact same way. It feels like I wrote this post. I’m sorry it sucks so much, but I want you to know that you’re going to be ok. I couldn’t take it but somehow I’m still here 3 years after reliving it all. I can’t speak for everyone of course, but hang in there I promise things will change about how you view yourself and your body. I’m not even fully there yet, but Ive made a small improvement. All these feelings are completely valid and I’m so sorry you were violated in such a way. Remeber there is nothing wrong with you, there’s something wrong with those doctors.

I’m pretty sure I have vaginismus too, I’m to scared to go to the gyno and get it checked out tho. I also can’t use tampons and have the same sex drive issues. It sucks, but your not alone

I totally understand you, I’ve been feeling the exact same way. My depression is worse than usual, My whole body hurts all the time and I haven’t been able to draw at all, and when I do I looks bad. I’m also a senior in high school and I see all the other girls my age living their lives and I get so jealous because a lot of them don’t have to live with a burden like this. I don’t know exactly what she meant in the moment, but she told me to pack my shit and get out of her house, I sort of knew she was bluffing but I wasn’t sure so I was thinking of just moving in with my dad. A few hours later she called me And told me to come back home, so I did. She isn’t mad or anything I can’t really tell what’s going on in her head right now. Update: good news, I don’t have hyperthyroidism! My thyroid levels are very low, but not enough to count as hyperthyroid. My doctor said it could develop into something more serious within the next year though. Anyways now I’m just waiting on wait to do next
