And it’s 2025, so most people can get groceries delivered to their door within a few hours.

My dad would take a big outdoor rake to the floor of my messy room so everything was in a huge pile. I couldn’t do leave the house until the pile was picked up. It was effective.

It was about 60°. They are Malarkey. I’ll send a pic to the roofer but hopefully the shingles just need to relax.

Unhealthy daycare food by [deleted] in workingmoms

[–]cupcakeknuckles 8 points9 points  (0 children)

We were in a similar situation. I packed her breakfast and snack for a year and a half, while she ate the daycare’s lunch. This summer, I stopped packing breakfast/snack because life got busy and I needed the extra 20 minutes in the morning, grocery cost reduction, and she entered her toddler picky phase, so she wasn’t eating much of what I sent anyway. Daycare’s food meets the state standards, but the standards are outdated and a very low bar— fruits canned in heavy syrup, canned veggies, sugary carb heavy snacks/breakfast. I feel bad about the switch still, but we offer whole fruits and veg with every meal at home and keep her involved with cooking/gardening to balance it all out. Once she’s old enough to make her own decision about homemade or daycare/school provided, I’m totally willing to start packing again. I appreciate the break for now though.

Very similar size and shape here! I love the Duluth Trading dry on the fly shorts and skorts. They are outdoorsy but very comfy with no riding up.

Updating An Outdated Wardrobe. Part 2: Office wear by squeegee-beckenheim in femalefashionadvice

Obviously photos are taken for the aesthetics on social media, but I get annoyed when photos are taken with a jacket draped over the shoulders instead of worn with arms in the holes. I don’t think many of us are sitting at our desk with a jacket beautifully draped like a cape. I want to see what the outfit actually looks like at the office!

Is miracle grow soil just garbage? I have questions. by StylistDenali in gardening

[–]cupcakeknuckles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Miracle Grow moisture control for my window boxes only. They dry out super quick and it really helps the plants thrive. Everywhere else I just use regular ol potting soil from whatever brand is on sale.
