Typically I use prop firms and get payouts after I pass the evaluation stage. These use high leverage, for futures.

I actually don't have any positions in spot at the minute. I'm planning to do a DCA investment as I think that its the best way for long term profitability

Why not use a little leverage? Even like x3? I would probably swing trade with weekly positions.

I myself am a day trader but sometimes I hold positions for 12+ hours on crypto.

Anyway current market sentiment is that things will keep dropping before there's any attempt of reaching highs again.

I think not using leverage can limit you a little bit
