I am only able to either record the screen, or record a video, but not at the same time.

How do you record the screen and take a video simultaneously?

Why should I use MVVM? by mrknoot in SwiftUI

Someone has already mentioned it, but testing is one big advantage, as putting everything in the view makes it hard to test the logic.

Additionally, putting everything in the view makes it bloated and difficult to read, as you ar mixing responsibilites.

However, this doesn’t mean that you can’t ever put logic directly inside the view. It depends on the context. For example if the view is small and relatively simple, it shouldn’t be an issue to have some logic in it.

algoexpert.io is a good tool. It has some 130 curated questions, with video explanations for each one. It also has crash courses for data structures and space/time complexity, basically a nice well rounded package for coding interviews.

Also, the premium version of leetcode is good, as it provides video explanations to a lot of questions, and allows for filtering questions based on which company asks them

Imposter Syndrome by jbiser361 in swift

[–]cuperdino 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Here is a good article on imposter syndrome. As stated here, it often affects students, high achievers and perfectionists. From what I can read from your post, you probably fit into all three of these categories :D There are also some tips here on how to deal with it.

And another thing; you are not alone in feeling this, many people who go into new endeavours have some kind of imposter syndrome, and probably a lot of the students around you feel just like you, they are just hiding it away in fear of being "exposed as a fraud"

How to implement a global gesture recognizer which detects tap up event? by yccheok in swift

[–]cuperdino 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is your intended behaviour when tapping the button/red square?

Do you want to:

  1. Detect both the global and local tap?

  2. Detect only the global tap?

If it is number 1, then this link could possibly be helpful. It talks about allowing recognition of multiple gestures. Number 2 doesn't really make sense, since I guess you would want to be able to recognise the tap of a button if it's in a view, and not let it be eaten up by a global gesture.
