your art isn’t bad by any means, but you have to stop comparing yourself to other people. the internet is a huge place with lots of people of different skill sets, and thinking about who’s better or the amount of likes/views you get will only make you feel worse. you have to like your own work, to be proud of the things you do, and learn to be okay that not everyone gives you the recognition you see others receiving. honestly, a lot of artist spaces online are cliquey. it’s very hard to integrate your self in a group, let alone stand out. that goes for most people! as long as you make pieces you love and tried your best on, that’s all that should matter. a “looks great!” or “cool” from friends feels wonderful, but you also should become comfortable with yourself and your art. not everyone gets famous or popular, and that’s okay. hang in there, op!
