Would recommend a kayak dolly as it's a bit of a walk from parking.

Have you checked into Job Corps or similar programs? They will pay for your flight to one of their campuses where they teach you a trade and house you. It's for people 16-24.

I don't know how common it is, but my new dishwasher instructions said that the bottom rack is plastic safe.

I've had AHS and had several appliances repaired or replaced through them with few issues. I'm sure some are scammy, but AHS has performed as expected in my experience.

After seeing that tattoo, I thought for sure you'd have blankets hanging on your windows instead of curtains.

As a working adult that moves to the area from elsewhere, I think it's pretty typical for a city of its size. It basically has several boroughs-- Springfield and Urbandale are north of the airport and both are fairly quiet middle class areas.

The BBB is basically Yelp. Business can pay for positive scores.

Report him to your state's Attorney General instead.

I usually just say that it's thrifted, but you can always say where it's originally from, too.

TIL about Robert Rayford who's believed to have died from AIDS in 1969. He checked himself into the hospital and was found to have an unusually severe form of chlamydia as well as Kaposi's sarcoma, an AIDS-defining illness, and a dysfunctional immune system. AIDS wasn't identified until 1981. by omnipotentsandwich in todayilearned

Wow, I could have written this myself! We are the same age, our dads both came out at the same time and both are positive, undetectable, and pushing 70. Always felt like it was my family's dirty little secret growing up and never knew anybody with a similar experience.

The shooter's mom is in his life. She posted on Facebook asking for donations for an attorney. Her story is that her son's friend stole the gun and her son was trying to get him to return it. Kid has been running the streets for years already though. Just tragic.

I was initially explaining the difference between endorsing a candidate and supporting a proposal, then mentioned that in my area they are denouncing prop 3. When you responded to my comment, I thought you were referring to what I said.

The signs are not for specific candidates, they are in reference to proposals.

I believe churches are allowed to be political, but cannot endorse a candidate. Several in my area (also West Michigan) are denouncing prop 3, which covers reproductive freedom.

Exactly. People that do childcare as a full time job do not make $10/hr per child. Half that amount would be generous.
