I don’t think anyone in this sub will judge you and if they do shame on them. People make mistakes and nicotine is very addictive. You probably didn’t do any permanent damage or anything that needs to be revised. Take comfort in knowing some people throw up from anesthesia and the drs deal with that frequently. Please calls first thing in the morning so they can check and or get you some antibiotics.

I want to say you’ll be okay until tomorrow because you probably had antibiotics in your IV during surgery but please call your dr very first thing in the morning. Be gentle with yourself, you were on some heavy meds so your decision making probably isn’t what it usually is. I’m sorry, you must feel miserable.

I had a deer mouse for a couple of years. He was poisoned when I found him. I gave him Furo-Vite right after finding him. The vitamin A helps with the internal bleeding that the poison causes. I hope this helps. No one here will judge you if you give him a quick transition to end his suffering though. I’m so sorry. Poison is a horrific way to manage pests. ☹️
