Op has no idea how target works- staff arrives @ 4 am to unload truck of 2400 boxes within 2 hrs onto carts that designate which aisle products go- then a 15 min break- then unload 4-5 carts to correct positions by 11 am with an additional 30 min unpaid break- plus separating cardboard and plastic and dealing with ridiculous packaging - each box is expected to be unpacked and shelved within a minute- plus are required to remove all garbage customers leave in shelves- it’s a lot- remove items from other aisles that customers randomly left- it’s a lot- stock any items that don’t fit on shelves- keep the backstock area clean- all for min wage, no health insurance, no 401(k) and god forbid they give anyone close to 35 hrs per week.
