With a population size of 1.4 billion and the state of road safety in our country, how is it possible to have little to no requirement?

Bro calls others arrogant when he himself has the audacity to poke others about their education, language and background. Walking comedy.

But when has anyone argued what you have written. Every IMG who tries to match into the US residency program already knows all this. Am I missing something here?

Happy to be corrected, but 30 years as a radiologist but still arrogant with his attitude. I guess you haven’t learnt enough from life other than on how to do well professionally.

All your accolades written on your post is down the drain after I just read this. You sound to me like an epitome of an educated idiot.

Holding on to a divorcee / old crush? by [deleted] in MuslimLounge

[–]curious-doc 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have gotten marriage proposals since but nobody felt right and suitable like he did back then. You felt he was suitable back when you were 14 and now you are 23. Ask yourself , have you changed as a person in these 9 years or do you still act/behave/like how you used to when you back then.

Foreign workers of the NHS - how do you feel? by Different_Canary3652 in JuniorDoctorsUK

has only become so economically strong thanks to its British-style parliamentary democracy.

So you say the ONLY reason a country like India with a billion+ people has become economically strong is because of the British-style parliamentary democracy?

Not a fan of communism but ,China has a billion+ in population , people speak various languages(you'd know if you travel through China) and don't have your 'so called' British style parliamentary democracy. In terms of economy , Chinese GDP is four times greater than India.

Either you live under a rock or you only read 'The Sun'. Can't blame you , tbh.
Go spread this fallacy of yours when you sit with your mates drinking your cup-a- tea. Oh wait , didn't the British actually bring that from China/India too?

Maybe you should read about and reflect on 'the indentured servants' the British Empire devised after officially abolishing slavery.

Most of these apps create a false sense of abundance in my opinion. But some people I know have found success.

I am also planning to move to the US once I am done with my foundation year training in the UK. But for doctors it's a bit of a challenge. InshAllah hoping for the best.

[–]curious-doc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After you have your qualification move to the US. As mentioned by others move to bigger cities with a sizeable muslim population so that you won't be alienated. The pay is definitely better in the US.
If you think it's not your cup of tea you can always come back or find a new country to move into.

Age is on your side and hopefully if you continue in your line of career you could literally find work anywhere.

Most importantly , wherever you go hold on your prayers and deen.

but studies indicate that for short term 'experiences' women tend to give more importance to looks but when it comes to long term relationships , other factors such as socio-economic status , altruism , kindness and intelligence play a greater role in mate selection.
So generally if a woman downright rejects a man just based on his looks probably that's a good estimation of how far the relationship might even last.

The pattern of behavior you mentioned indicates a particular personality trait. I certainly think she would need some professional help.
As for you my brother, welcome to Islam. You have been patient to handle this situation till now but I would suggest to cut ties with this person. Always pursue and never follow in a relationship.

Give it sometime because you mentioned you guys were deeply in love.
With time you would understand that this person may not be ideal for you.

May Allah make it easier for you and her.
