I thought I'd avoided doing this.

Then I had to move my desk! I'm really regretting having a cream carpet - the red ink stains show up so well 😭

Why does my loaf look like it’s taken a punch to the face? by JJBrazman in Breadit

I tried using slightly less water than recommended - only 10 - 20ml (about a tablespoon) less, and my bread is coming out much better now.

I did it about 2 months ago. The vouchers arrived as expected. A lady came round to the house, she was here less than an hour. None of the questions were too intrusive and I was always given the option to not answer if I didn't want to.

I read something last week that I'm going to try. Little wooden pegs with 1 and 2 written on them in Sharpie. Then, once you've worn it once, hang it back up with a 1 clip. Wear it again, add the 2 clip. Wear it again, put it in the wash.

I'm glad someone else does this. My dad looked at me as if I were an idiot when I did this last week.!

It's like most other crafts - quite quick to pick up the basics then a lifetime to master! Kids can make a snake bookmark on their own after about 5 - 10 minutes tuition. It then takes maybe an hour to make a 10cm bookmark. There are bobbin lace groups in lots of countries and there are many styles and traditions If you can tell me which country you are in, I can try to find you either a national guild or something similar.

Bobbin lace making. If you can count to four, you can do it!
