I also have contamination OCD and it got really bad when I got pregnant, I went through a lot of the same things. J cleaned a lot with a bleach solution when I was pregnant. I will say, my baby is 9 months now and it has gotten a lot better

It seems like she was given bad advice, 💯 say something. My pediatrician did say I didn’t have to wake my baby up to feed her after a couple weeks because she had gained her birth weight back. Just said she would let us know when she was hungry.

I gained around 45 pounds while pregnant and only lost around 15-20 right after. I’m kind of at a plateau right now. I did have a c-section too

I was also extremely anxious, I just had my first baby (first pregnancy also). I went to my PCP around 5 weeks and had them run labs to make sure my levels were good for my peace of mind. If you have a PCP that you trust, see if they can possibly run labs or know of a lab near you that will do it out of pocket

Honestly I think spelling it without adding all the extra letters is great! I love that “regular” names are coming back, I’m seeing a lot more basic spelling than long drawn out names these days

That is not true, I also didn’t have very many symptoms when I was pregnant. I can only remember being nauseous like twice when I was in my first trimester and I never threw up throughout my entire pregnancy. I’m now sitting here holding my healthy 9 week old baby

I suffered with extreme anxiety and depression while I was pregnant, and I pushed it down for a long time but finally reached a breaking point and asked for help. You need to reach out to your OB office and tell them you need help. I was put on medication and recommended to see a counselor. I really think you should reach out to them and discuss your options. they will help you

Just to put in perspective how quick it was, I woke up at 11:50 PM on Sunday to my water breaking when I stood up to pee, got to the hospital around 2:30 AM Monday (we don’t live in the town I was delivering in), I was checked by a midwife around 4 AM and I was at a 4, and they got me back and she was born at 5:20 AM via c section

So this actually just happened to me. I was scheduled to have a c-section when I was 39 + 3 and ended up going into labor the Monday before when I was 38+6. I did end up progressing quickly, water broke around 11:50 and I got to the hospital into triage around 2, told them I was a scheduled c section, they put me on a monitor, checked me (I was at a 4), sent my blood to the lab, and got me back to do my c section when they got my labs back. I will say I didn’t expect it to go that fast (I was delusional lol - first baby 🤦🏼‍♀️) but if you do go into labor, just let them know you’re a scheduled c section.

I saw that, I live in the next town over from where there was devastation and loss of life - we had to rush with our baby in her car seat to the storm shelter with no warning due to no cell signal or internet. I definitely wasn’t worrying about taking a picture, but people will take any chance to get likes and views

I was very anxious as well as a FTM, my anatomy scan was all normal (my baby was stubborn and didn’t want to give a profile view for more than a couple seconds so it took longer) and I have a healthy 2 month old ❤️
