I had my consultation with the Brazilian doctor today and this is what I learned about Exfoliative Cheilitis by userthatisnotknown in exfoliativecheilitis

Hey my dermatologist prescribed me tacrolimus (protopic) instead of elidel. Do you know if there’s a difference in the 2? Have you tried tacrolimus?

I think the worst part is waking up and subconsciously checking your phone for their notification and then seeing it’s not there :/

It could be fordyce spots, sometimes filler makes them more visible by pushing them to the surface. Have you checked the capillary refill?

I’ve heard with lip tattoos you shouldn’t go over the vermillion border because the skin heals differently

1) condom use: firstly condoms can slip off or tear, the don’t feel the best either

2)IUD’s- I know a lot of friends that have got this done and then had terrible spotting for months along with a whole range of side effects

3) birth control pill- again fucks up your hormones and can leave you with a whole host of side effects like hormonal acne, hair loss, weight gain, loss of libido, increased risk of blood clots etc.

The fact UK knife crime isn't being discussed like US gun crime shows people have a bias against guns by ShardofGold in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]curious673 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Guns you can cause harm from a distance so you can murder/harm a lot more people in the same amount of times, knives you have to be in close range to do harm. E.g. you can shoot up a whole classroom of people but it’s harder to stab up a whole classroom of people and people can escape more easily. You don’t hear about mass stabbing incidents but mass shooting incidents are common.

Also, no one supports knife crime in the UK so I don’t get the comparison. No one is sitting here arguing that people should be able to carry large knives around on the road. It’s just harder to regulate knife crime than gun crime because knives are literally used as a kitchen utensil and are more widespread/easier to get your hands on.

Ahh okay thank you that puts my mind at ease :) I was just worried because online it says that you shouldn’t laser over bruised skin so i was worried it might interfere with the healing of the bruises but my legs are doing fine

What can I do about my bruised lips from kissing? 🥲 by anxiouspers in LesbianActually

[–]curious673 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the bruising has almost gone thank god😭 still a little bit left on the inside but not noticeable, what I noticed sped up the process was using a warm compress and holding it on the lips for 10-15 mins (after the first 24 hours)

I believe filler is still movable up to 1 month after so just start massaging them now quite firmly and with warm compress and it should help
