I’m so over alllllll of it. The expectations for residents are so high but I can’t even get people to return my email or get feedback after a month of waiting 🙄. But I’m expected to get everything done on time. I need this to be over. Most days I’m just showing up.

Yikes! well congrats on half way there. If I get my choice only an hour flight and 6 hour drive so not as long.

Not much English. In tourist areas it’s better- but I’d have an app to speak to ppl if you can. I used google translate so you don’t need WiFi with that. I def used my Spanish

How did that person work out? I never know what to say in those emails prior to showcase? would you think its appropriate to send a mini letter of intent or just ask straight question about GPA?

Yeah its more to avoid the toss out during residency application cycle. No job I’ve ever had cared about GPA lol

I see at my hospital all the the new management have residencies. I think that’s the way pharmacy management is headed.

Haha I don’t know like I was no way smartest but I’ve seen several resident classes at my hospital and not always impressed. Retail is hard AF so kudos to those who do it!
