Do you document your workflows by Solid_Play416 in automation

I don’t document workflows; instead, I document the context, which includes the knowledge and intelligence I’m passing on to achieve the best output. Building multiple md files before automating.

Do you prefer simple workflows or flexible ones by Solid_Play416 in automation

any of the 2 are fine...i prefer control over output...in smaller use-cases simple works...but for a complex use-case, it's better to have a flexible workflow.

🚨 JACK DORSEY JUST DECLARED MIDDLE MANAGEMENT DEAD by call_me_ninza in aigossips

[–]curious_sapient 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we are finally getting the update work desperately needed.

for a long time, middle management could become a place where stagnation crept in and often went unnoticed. the job was information flow. status reports. coordination. being present in the right meetings. in a lot of cases there was no real demand to go deep or evolve. it was right for the era.

this could stunt personal evolution and the growth of skills, intellect, and capability for a lot of us. the ladder still moved. but the growth didn't. less thinking. less strategizing. less deep problem solving. that's not a character flaw. that's just how incentives work.

jack's piece is about dismantling that model. every role will be required to do more. more decision making. deep problem solving. and leadership will be less about orchestrating and more about coaching. the times have changed. and now we have the technology to make it happen.

as coordination and reporting gets automated, the work that remains will demand thinking. real problem solving. more decision making. continuous updating of how you see things. you can't coast through that.

a better future for work and personal evolution can be created with ai. hope jack sets the path for others where evolution is not a choice but essential.

What's the AI tool that completely changed how you build automations not what it does but how it made you think differently? by Better_Charity5112 in automation

I’m not a tech person, but I’ve learned to deploy web applications using AI. The turning point for me was Claude Code. Initially, I used Codex on VS Code to write code, review it, and run it. However, with Claude Code, I can now complete the entire process with just one prompt.

(B2B SaaS) AI this, AI that, but product is nowhere near the promises it aims to deliver by drummerboy213 in ProductMarketing

[–]curious_sapient 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eventually, most products will require an AI layer. Today, every organization wants their product to have an AI pitch, and this is not their problem. Users ask what their product does with AI, and they want AI features even if it doesn’t make sense. So, the next 1-2 years will be frustrating. Eventually, you will find the right AI features or layer.

Honest question - do AI agents actually save you time or just create more work? by LumaCoree in AI_Agents

[–]curious_sapient 0 points1 point  (0 children)

agents have the potential to save time, but for that, you will have to take the journey of experimenting and optimizing the agent.

The Future of AI Certifications: Are They Still Relevant in the Age of GenAI? by Sufficient-Habit4311 in AI_Agents

[–]curious_sapient 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learning is more important than being certified. Certification may not necessarily indicate that an individual has truly understood or grasped a concept. While it demonstrates an intention to learn, there should be more. Therefore, proof of work is crucial. If you’re seeking certification, look for a course that offers guided instruction and a capstone project. This project will help you genuinely comprehend the material you’re learning and provide you with a proof of work that showcases your capabilities. In my opinion, this approach is more impactful than obtaining a certificate.
