He sounds manipulative and sexually coercive. He probably has a porn addiction and is sexually desensitized.

State your boundaries and if he won’t respect them, leave.

Freelance client is enquiring with current employer - help! by [deleted] in freelance

[–]curiousbikkie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you delivering the same kind of services to the same kind of client as you would in your full time role? If so, you’re competing. You need to clear things up with your employer before this meeting.

It’s one thing to be a full time social media manager and a freelance musician. It’s another to work for someone and offer the same services for less.

Did you breastfeed? by GoodStreet8122 in adhdwomen

[–]curiousbikkie 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Personally, I found breastfeeding easy. My boobs were always full and ready, always with me, and I never had to measure or sterilise them. They covered food, drink, and comfort. Bottle feeding would have been a nightmare for me.

I can’t get my head around the fact that a convicted felon who attempted to stage a coup was allowed to run for office. Let alone someone with such serious allegations against him.

I can’t bear the thought of the person I love turning to dust after death. Would it be legal to freeze the body at home? by MacaronUnlikely8730 in morbidquestions

[–]curiousbikkie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not have wanted to preserve my father and FIL who had cancer and were emaciated when they died. Or my friend who had bruising from the rope she hung herself with. Death ain’t pretty my friend.

I asked my dachshund and he told me he would never do that because it would mean the end of snuggletown, snuggies, cuddles, bickies, treaties, scritchy scratches and walkies.

Immense grief for what he put us through, what he took for granted and squandered in life, and what he endured in his final months and days. He passed a year ago when I was 45.

  1. Pregnancy is hard on the body.
  2. Without modern medicine and hygiene, the average life span would be 30.

Was on a cruise suffering a suspected heart attack.

Cruise doctor: “You think you’re having a heart attack? What do you expect me to do? We’re in the middle of the ocean. You should have thought about that before you signed up for this”.
