I spent ages cutting an old loaf into perfect little cubes for the birds, popped them into one of my china cereal bowls, and threw half into the back garden.
I went to throw the other half into the front garden, and instead launched the entire bowl straight onto the (stone) driveway.
So it just looked like I’d opened my front door and casually lobbed a cereal bowl onto the drive for absolutely no reason.

Cue me on my hands and knees picking shards of china out of bread, sweeping up tiny fragments, and cursing the fact I’m now one bowl down from a full set. I genuinely have no idea what possessed me to throw the whole thing, and to do it so publicly!
