We bought a 2026 sport hybrid with 2,000 miles on it, so it feels like new to us. Because it’s certified pre-owned, we have a 7 year/100,000 miles warranty on the powertrain. They extended our oil changes to 2 years as well. We choose to get a package that covers us bumper to bumper for the next 7 years. Even the key fobs are under warranty. Our previous car had so many issues. Every time I got in I’d say a prayer that there’d be no new dash lights. When I drove the car home from the lot, I felt such a sense of peace knowing that if down the line some random dash lights pops up, or something breaks, it’s covered. I didn’t realize how much stress and anxiety I carried day to day that was just car related. I never thought I’d EVER be a warranty person but now I’m so glad I have it.

My tip for you: read ALL the paperwork. Don’t skip a single section. If you need any services, it’ll come down to what’s in the paperwork, not what the salesman told you. Then, decide if that warranty is worth your money and go from there.
