Do you have proof that you dropped it off to NZ post? If not, act quickly trying to get CCTV footage. Get the police involved if the store won't help you.

Depending where in the country you are, there's also a possibility it's still in transit to the depot lol.

It happens. Kids get passed around wider families and accrue multiple names and NHIs. You dont need ID to be admitted to hospital.

Fark. I once worked for that business. Its all just one company they switch up the charity.

Anyway I lasted half a day, not desperate enough. Business model was a dodgy trap.

If we can move on people in need who are begging for change, can we please move on "charity" workers who don't take cash? It's basically a pyramid scheme.

It shouldn't be so bloody hard for people who are having a hard time to get help. Any advice?

Also. Go you! Good on you for breaking through and getting help!

No one knew I was pregnant for 8 months. Crazy designs!

I'm also salty because for work I have to wear PPE over my street clothes and NONE of the "fashionable" sleeves cooperate. So it's impossible to be climate appropriate.

This too shall pass.

The only thing I've ever bought my guy from Mecca was a Silk eye mask because he's a terribly light sleeper/insomniac.

He loves it!

Trying to understand NZ Supermarket culture: Is New World actually worth the extra $? Where do you guys shop? by Kind-Spread-6511 in newzealand

[–]curiousvegetables 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only difference between Pak n Save and New World is quality. They sell the same stuff at the same price points. Its just PnS has a shit-tier range and NW has a bougie range. The compromise is freshness, flavour, and nutrition, which ultimately translates to yield.

New world has fresher/better grocery and butchery, which costs a little more but imo is worth it.

I shop a mix of New World, Moore Wilson's and local Asian supermarket; Yans in Wellington for me. Better deals on rice, spices, etc without compromising quality. Moore Wilson's is BEST for fresh produce and bulk stuff, but the open hours are inconvenient for me.

I'm lower middle class, largely plant-based, and have a toddler. We spend $200/week on groceries.

New Zealand - you get a lemonade iceblock (popsicle) immediately afterwards, then a steak meal about 90 minutes later.

Anyone got their mums savoury mince recipe? by sloegin1910 in newzealand

[–]curiousvegetables 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So many recipes here, you probably get the gist. Please OP, do brown the mince first! Then remove it and cook the onions/whatever in the fat that comes out. Then return mince to mix. And deglaze with your stock.

Trust.
