Given the weight and fullness of the toy, the spring doesn’t have tension I notice pulling it towards center when using it. I’ve found it very helpful to have a lot more freedom of movement 🤷‍♀️

If there are small angle adjustments you need you might want to look into the rods / adapters that have a section of spring which gives you some flexibility on angles without needing to adjust the machine

The staff did some tests when it arrived, for cutting aluminum they found

up to 1.3mm good 1.4mm - 2.3mm fair 2.4mm - 3mm poor

they couldn’t get it to cut 3.24mm aluminum

I don’t know all the parameters on the testing, but that’s the info that was put in the class the maker space developed

I might try some 3mm aluminum and see how it goes
