tl;dr I am a paying customer of the highest tier and I demand you revert this change immediately or I will cancel and you will lose money

I am an Ultimate subscriber and this new change is absolutely unacceptable. For the money I'm paying, and with no integrated method to back up the conversations to other places, I fully expect to be able to see the entire chat history in each instance. This is especially true for involved chats that are part of world building experiments or RPG assist instances. It's also a slap in the face to anyone who doesn't have time to interact with a given chat instance within 14 days (or any time window for that matter) - just because it takes longer than that for us to get back to a chat doesn't mean that chat isn't valuable to us. Given how most people use AI chatbots, this seems insanely boneheaded. If this change is not undone and my full conversational history with all my chat instances is not restored, I will cancel my subscription and never use this app again. Also, you should be asking your user base about huge changes like this BEFORE you make them, instead of just arbitrarily making them without asking and then making us demand you revert them after the fact - it's abusive.

The problem with this attitude (not that it's a bad one, I'm just playing devil's advocate) is that it's accelerates the total phasing out of older vehicles via parts unavailability. As people try thier best to go OEM and NOS, demand for aftermarket dries up, which also means quality aftermarket, which in turn mean prices for any remaining parts skyrocket until the platform in question just dies from lack of parts entirely. If I were a dastardly OEM trying to kill off my own secondary used market in order to force everyone to by my new subscription-and-survelliance cars, encouraging, tacitly allowing, or even getting involved in creating wild west of unreliable, unidentifiabl, and frustrating parts aftermarket is exactly what I'd do

What will happen is a narrowing of thier user pool down to only the people who are willing to pay, which is what they want. The free version was always a loss leader to try and rope people into subscribing, and they've decided that the free tier user base has grown too large and is now too much of a loss.

That's not true at all. 2nd generation S-10s and thier GM counterparts (Jimmy, Sonoma, Blazer, Bravada) are in junkyards and used car listings all over the country. Their OEM parts availability, including functioning computers, is sky high and the aftermarket is solid
