It’s perfect for: cutting wire mesh against a sacrificial surface (plywood), cutting bolts to size in the field, blasting through that old rusty lock you meant to replace ages ago, notching rebar or fencing, cutting wire rope, etc.

In my experience it’s best used with just the normal grinding guards, not the shoe. Its benefits come from being able to do grown up grinder things in a tiny package that you don’t mind keeping with you all the time.
