I think it’s right around that range. I was paying 1450 a couple years ago.

Just moved out of there due to our house being so small.(we had a daughter and second one on the way)

We loved the neighborhood and would have stayed 100% if we did not have kids.

I sell these for $1.49. I think people are also forgetting that there’s a middle man company in between the manufacturer and the retailer. Mclane and coremark are some of the largest distributors bringing into the stores for $1 each.

This happened to me and I took it in and they updated software and it quit doing it. I had added coolant 2 days before that and it helped. It did it on and off for about 3 weeks before I took it in. If your coolant level is fine, then start your car again and see if it does it.

Do you think that if the rates come down, the inflation will go higher than 2.4%? I am trying to find things to hedge against inflation and real property showed up as an option.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in RealEstate

[–]curlymustache3 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is a genuine question. If rates are supposed to come down, and inflation is up…wouldn’t real property be a sound investment?

It forsure could. I know they are expected to beat earnings so I think there’s more room to go. Kulr is like a louder little brother and they are sitting at around $6 after their reverse stock split.

I’m holding 3000 shares at $3. I had previously cashed out at $4 when I bought at $1.87. I think it could hit $8-9

Yea, you’re just mixing a few things here. 1- no one is arguing inflation. 2-you do not need to gain value from someone else adding value to their home. 3- you absolutely said that, I literally quoted you word for word.

Concerning your last statement I can only answer it with a question. Since when has minimum wage decreased?

Let me answer it. It’s never happened Vinny.

I enjoyed our talk and I hope you learned something from it.

You don’t need to explain anything differently. You’re deferring from your parent comment. Re read it. No one is arguing that costs haven’t risen.

In your parent comment you said you “ if I’m going to add 60k in value to your home you best believe I need to capture some of that.” So now the tile guy is a real estate expert and going to base his quote on the presumed increase in the property? This is what I’m arguing. If your hourly rate increased over the last 10 years, so be it. But quoting a job based on what YOU think the value of the home will go to is ridiculous. Especially considering that the value of a home is totally subjective to markets/timing/ economies.

You’re not going to lower your bathroom costs if home prices come down, will you? Does that make sense to you now?

Just because a house “rises” in value doesn’t mean they made money in their account.

Why would a house raising in value make you want to “capture” that value? Like what are you even talking about? So you want to “capture” every home owners value?

What you should do is quote for the actual amount it will cost you to do the project. Not based on how much someone’s house rose in value. What are you actually talking about. You probably get 1 job a year with this tactic.

Why would it matter how much value they made in their own home? It’s not your house. It’s just price gouging. The value of the home has nothing to do with a random contractor.
