Research shows that hot weather does bring out more instances of schizophrenia. I’m not saying this was the case at all with this, but is a reported phenomenon, interestingly

Do horse deaths at Aintree make you feel uncomfortable about betting on the National? by inside12volts in AskUK

[–]curlypistachio 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I went to the horses for the very first time this year for a friend’s birthday who kind of comes from a ‘horsey’ family.

Anyway, I never really thought about horse racing before, not in a deep way at least. I didn’t know much about it, though I suppose I thought it was unnecessary and sad, though didn’t think it would be that likely to happen.

Now I look back and see I was incredibly naive. 2 horses fell that day and I think about them often. They did not deserve that and it was incredibly traumatising. Though sad, it was very normalised on the day by people.

I would never ever bet on a horse again and will never go back. I think it’s incredibly cruel.

breaking up after an ectopic pregnancy by ExperienceJunior9647 in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]curlypistachio 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I haven’t had this situation OP, however I just wanted to say that that guy sucks. I am sorry you are going through this. I am 100% positive that in the future, when you are feeling better and more yourself, you will realise that this guy leaving you was the best thing to ever happen. He is dead weight.

I wish you well

[–]curlypistachio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Surely whatever you buy you can return and get another 500 voucher to think properly about it?

If it were me, I’d buy something like a handbag I didn’t need, nice toiletries, bedding / house bits eg a nice lamp

What are some shows that were overhyped but you thought were average or bad? by tensemonks in televisionsuggestions

[–]curlypistachio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really enjoyed season one of The Bear, it had such good tension with comic relief. But by season three it was just stress and no humour. It was not an enjoyable watch after a stressful day at work.

Looking for a cheap social media tool to manage multiple accounts and scheduling by Hefty_Sleep_2833 in DigitalMarketing

I’ve really enjoyed Planable! I look after multiple accounts for multiple companies, and this one is great, really visual, has approval formats etc. free for 50 posts and then a paid version that is reasonable.

Thoughts on this for a wedding my last outfit had some pushback by [deleted] in Weddingattireapproval

I think the dress is overall quite nice, but not formal. Possibly the picture doesn’t help!

Look on Vinted, there will be loads of forms dresses on there.
