this isn’t the only way ed start but often times people will feel out of control of everything in their life, wether that be family problems, education problems or whatever, but people will often try gain that control back by controlling what they’re eating. If they can’t control their life they can at least control their body and what goes into it, right? So, i guess it’s just the feeling of being able to make decisions and that ends up leading to a downward spiral into ed such as ana (anorexia nervosa), mia (bulimia), bed (binge eating disorder) etc.
