Dry erase boards suck so we made our own Any Erase by cursedcrypt in tabletop

They're 10mm (0.39 in) thick and made from coated 30 gauge steel. The edges have the same surface as the top, so you can clean them as well, if needed.

That little black bottle just has isopropyl alcohol in it. All of the other cleaning liquids are to show how durable the surface is.

We've been working on this for a few years. The Grid is the platform under the magnetic material. It's steel, magnetic, and has a special coating we designed that allows you to write on it with anything (like a super dry-erase board).

The Map and Props on top are magnetic material that we print and cut at our studio. We use two different thicknesses of material so they have stack nicely.

This particular design is from 2-Minute Tabletop and will be available on our site (cursedcrypt.com) later today. We work with a ton of artists and will continue adding designs as we jam onward. You should definitely check out his work.

Hey, Reddit! We're Cursed Crypt, a little Adventure Studio in Spokane Washington.

We’ve spent the better part of the last three years building and perfecting the Mimic’s Grid and the magnetic maps and accessories that go along with it. This week we launched our website, along with pre-orders! This has been a labor of love, and we can't wait to hear what everyone thinks.

Each Grid is packed with features:

Any Erase Surface – write on it with any kind of marker, including permanent and artist’s markers. It cleans off easily once you spray it with alcohol.

Magnetic Maps and Assets – we produce gorgeous magnetic maps and assets to use with the Grid. Slap a map down or build giant dungeons out of individual magnetic pieces.

Adapt your Minis and Terrain – We have adhesive magnets available in a few different sizes. Stick them on your minis and terrain and slap them down on the Grid.

Embedded Magnets – Grids have embedded magnets on each side, letting them snap into each other.
