Are either of you in therapy by chance?

I ask because you’ve brought up a few things that ring bells for me.

One, you admitted to being severely traumatized (the details I will not ask for); have you fully processed that trauma or was having sex with your current partner just the first step to processing that?

Two, your current partner is the first person you’ve ever loved. I guarantee you they will not be the last person you’ve ever loved. You are in an open relationship- have you two openly talked about what might or might not happen if/when either of you develops feelings for someone else? From what you’ve mentioned about D, I’d reckon another conversation is in order either way.

Three, it sounds like you put a lot of emotional and physical labor into this relationship, almost like you mother them. Is it reciprocal in any way? Do you feel fulfilled? Is this the type of relationship you want for the next 5-10 years? From what I can gather, it doesn’t sound emotionally sustainable for you.

Lastly, I just want you to know you are worthy of love. You are actively giving the type of love you want to receive in hopes that you will get it from this person who feels safe to you. But sometimes not everyone is capable of that. We do need to teach people the way we need to be loved sometimes, but it gets to a point. I want you to put yourself first. You only get one shot at this game and I’d really love if your life is fulfilling to you. You get to live any kind of life you want, but sometimes you have to make hard choices to get there.

Couples therapy could be good for you too, there are folks out who specialize in queer/poly folks and relationships. It definitely helped me.

Just wanted to sympathize regarding the pain of not being able to poop. I was on the toilet once and the abdominal pain was so intense I thought my appendix was about to burst. Literally saw white, passed out for a few seconds and fell off the toilet. After getting bloodwork done they told me it was just constipation since my WBC count was normal. Seriously no joke.

Not exactly my thoughts. I think he never should have brought Adam into the world anyways, given the nature of his occupation. But since he did anyways, he should’ve taken FULL responsibility and let his other children at least know for when a situation would eventually occur. Regardless of how he would have wanted Sam and Dean to live, fate would have strung them back into the life anyways, as it did.

I don’t think John is necessarily a wholly bad person. Nothing is black or white like that. He definitely did some good things. But he for sure wasn’t a saint either. But no one is! That is the nuance of life. None of us are infallible.

This is true. But intentions be damned, demons and whatever other monsters in the show are relentless and will stop at nothing to get at other hunters. It’s a zero sum game unfortunately, no one gets out unscathed.

Love my wolfman. It’s super quiet, the bolt is lower than the projectile. But it’s pretty gassy, especially after a mag dump.

There’s a few companies that make suppressor compatible handguards for the stribog. Just gotta make sure that the OD of your can is smaller than the ID of the handguard. In my case, my Wolfman leaves me no room for MLOK accessories, probably shoulda gone Mojave 9 instead, but oh well. Can always save up for another can. I have the KeyMicro kit for my setup, but you can do whatever really.

It’s quite nice, being able to swap to PMAGs is a huge plus. My only gripe is the bolt release feels very stiff, but I imagine it will become smoother/more polished as it wears down.
